TUESDAY OF THE SECOND WEEK OF LENT
Dear God, help me to live in the simplicity of the “Our Father,” this perfect prayer of Jesus. Heal my heart in those places where I hold on to past hurts, grudges and envies. Let me move closer toward forgiveness with the realization that you desire it and extend it to me. Amen.
MONDAY OF THE SECOND WEEK OF LENT
Dear God, allow me to recognize the need all around me. Let me see your eyes in the faces of the hungry, the homeless, the imprisoned. Help me not to always walk by, but rather to see, really see, with your eyes. I want to be part of the sheep brigade. Amen.
SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT
Dear God, help me to search for the deeper truths that you call me to embrace. Assist me in letting go of all that enslaves me, and let me experience true freedom as your loved child. Amen.
SATURDAY OF THE FIRST WEEK OF LENT
Stretching out Thy divine hands upon the Cross, Thou hast joined together that which before was divided, and by Thy mediation Thou hast offered as a gift to the Father the nature of mortal man, that was under condemnation. Therefore we sing the praises of Thy sinless Crucifixion. Amen.

Dear God, the temptations of my life are many and my resistances few. Sometimes the desert is less a place of purification and more a place where I focus on all that I don't have. Help me to wallow in the words of the water which whisper "beloved" to me too. Amen.
