For Fr Greene, Eucharistic Minister, the Lector, Orchestra, Choir, uplifting, for the teachers, parents(guardians) & the students who were attentive in following the Sunday Mass & well behaved, all should feel so proud! John 9:2-3 (NIV)***********"MY AGING MOTHER IS INDEPENDENT. She lives alone, prepares her own meal, and drives. Every day, she is a slender vision decked in a fancy ensemble with dangly earrings, bangles, and baubles. Friends call her "Pearl" because she is precious. My mother also suffers excruciating pain from arthritis. I have asked the Lord, "Why must my mother suffer?" She is a generous soul, who donates to countless charities. She is a trusted neighbor and devoted Sunday school teacher. She spends her morning in prayer. My mother knows Jesus on a first-named basis. And when I was four-years old, she taught me to pray. Perhaps my mother questioned the Lord about her medical condition when she was younger. At this time in her life, she takes up her cross like Jesus and carries it, daily. Mother says to me often. During the week when the boss upsets me or I grow impatient with a task, I remember my mother's mindset for pressing forward. Then I tell the Lord. "Thank You for this opportunity to lean on You." When riding together in the car, I sing with my mother. One favorite song is "Oh, To Be Kept by Jesus." My mother doesn't just sing this song. she has taught me how to live the song that we sing." --ALICE THOMPSON***********"FAITH STEP: Music is ministry. Dear Lord, thank you for taking away my chronic pain last night and today. Thank you, too, for helping my husband with all the many things he does each day to keep us going. Also, give peace and guidance to my two sisters, for they have some mental and physical issues that bother them greatly. Help all people who suffer and thank you dear Lord for everything.
