Lord thank you for the start of a new week and for the many blessings received and prayers answered. Lord bless my children, family members and friends with your love and grace today and every day of their lives. Blessed Mother protect ALL of us during this global pandemic and to help each other stay safe. St. Dymphna please continue to watch over and help my son Jeremy who is living with mental illness. Lord grant healing to all those fighting cancer and those with chronic conditions especially arthritis. Holy Spirit light and guide my children everyday of their lives, St. Jude help them with any difficulties they may encounter. Lord forgive us for all our faults and failings, and intercede for us to show respect and love to all, because WE are all made in your likeness and image. JESUS I PLACE ALL MY TRUST IN YOU. Amen.

Abbā Almighty, we can never respect You as You deserve. We can only do our best, and even to achieve this, we need You to grant us the grace to do it and to help us. So You made a bridge for us to come to You; Your Son Jesus, our Saviour and Redeemer. He, who had to pay for our sins, becomes a man, suffers pain, humility, and death on the cross. Most loving Father, it is in His name that I pray to You, have mercy on all the souls in purgatory, especially the ones who fell prey to Covid-19. Amen.

"When the disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to consume them?" Luke 9: 54 (CEB)**********"MY FRIEND RECENTLY SUFFERED a serious rejection. My heart broke for her. It was unfair, uncalled for, and put her in a difficult position for her near-future plans. To increase the distress, she'd worked hard the past several years to heal from words that had shredded her soul. Now this.***My heart ached as if it had happened to me, but then I realized what I felt on her behalf could be little more than a shadow of what she was experiencing. The above verse came to mind and lingered. But only for a moment. It's a good thing I remembered the words that follow them in the Bible.***Jesus and His disciples had been rejected by a whole town. He'd sent messengers ahead of the team to find a place to stay on the long trip to Jerusalem. Their path led through a Samaritan village. But the village "refused to welcome him because he was determined to go to Jerusalem" (Luke 9: 53, CEB). ****James and John must have been humiliated, angry, and hurt, for their Friend, but when they asked Him if they should obliterate them with fire from above, Jesus "turned and spoke sternly to them[James and John ], and they went on to another village." Jesus who really did have the power to call down fire from heaven, didn't. He moved on. ****My friend is moving on. She's a Jesus follower. Our quiet neighborhood seems especially silent today because the road in front of our house is closed to through traffic while the county resurfaces the asphalt a few miles to the north. A soft breeze is blowing. The only conflict within sight is a war between two cardinals and a blue jay. The cardinals are winning. ***It is a place of peace. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Make her become more independent, grow cognitively, and prepare her to handle college and what life throws her way. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, skinny state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military.
