SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT - O God creator of all good things, you are our light and our salvation, whom should we fear. You are the stronghold, the rock of our life, of whom should we be afraid? Help us as we live each day by discerning what is right and true, by taking comfort and always hoping in you. Guide us along your right path knowing that you are always with us and you will never leave us to face life alone. Amen!

Lord thank you for the start of a new week, and the many blessings received and prayers answered. Lord bless all my children, family members and friends with your love and grace today and every day of their lives, Blessed Mother protect and keep my children safe, St. Jude assist them with any difficulties they may encounter, Holy Spirit light and guide their way in life. St. Dymphna continue to help my son Jeremy living with mental illness. Lord grant healing to all those who are battling cancer and chronic conditions. JESUS I PLACE ALL MY TRUST IN YOU. Amen.

Help me pray. As a lam unemployed and looking for a job it has been years. Help me pray for my relationship especially my boyfriend who has a terminally ill mother and that has affected his social life becoming distant and all. Wonderful God, receive my thanks for the miracle of Karmena whose life You spared. Abbā, I praise You for her life and give glory to Your name. You are the sole creator of the universe, and as I stand in awe of Your greatness, before You I humble myself, and in the name of Your Divine Son Jesus, I pray, give a decent childhood to this newborn. I also pray that our Ly too will get Your Holy Spirit to show her the path. I pray that You embrace these two daughters of Yours exceptionally well. Amen.

Dear Lord, I pray: for all of my family members to get along with each other much better right away and respect each other, for my son to be honest, trustworthy, and legal always, for my son to go to confession as soon as possible and return to full communion with the Catholic Church right away, and become a great Christian, Catholic gentleman who becomes a great witness for the Lord and His Church, in thanksgiving that my son got a job – that he might do very well at it, enjoy it, work full time or more at it, develop useful skills and traits and wisdom, and that he be guided by the Spirit to what he should be doing next in life, and, for all of my family's ailments -- spiritual, physical, mental, or emotional -- to be cured quickly and completely, most especially the depression and anxiety affecting my son. May they go away without the use of drugs of any type.

Much appreciation to Fr Fagan for introduction & recessional words, they were well received. For Fr Joerger, facilitating the Sunday Mass, the Gospel & his heartfelt & uplifting Homily & for including the students into it. For the Eucharistic Minister, the lector, orchestra & choir were enlightening & enjoyed. For the parents(guardians), teachers, & the students of Salesian High School & Iona Prep, New Rochelle, how respectful & attentive they were in following the Mass & so very well behaved. Pat yourselves on your back, be proud. "WAY TO GO!" ***For the parishioners, viewers, benefactors, donors & all whom make the Sunday Mass possible, Thank you. ****May God Bless all always! Dear Lord; You know me, my needs concerns, stresses & the physical, emotional & financial worries I am overwhelmed by. Please help me today, as I am hurting, limited to what I can do, as I'm suffering from previous body injuries, causing my whole person to endure excruciating pain which hinders my ability to accomplish tasks, & has been inflamed by the 24/7 construction of an adjoining neighbor, using heavy machinery, toxic fumes, causing my home to shake & causing overwhelming pains that I'm being awakened from from 12am throughout the early morning hours, 2, 4, 5, before 7am, then all throughout the day & evening, with loud video games, together with loud music to drown out the construction, use of heavy power tools & toxic fumes! I'm suffering irreversible lung damage, high blood pressure & other ailments, never smoked in my life, was healthy when I retired, in my home 47 years, until the neighbors took possession of their semi-attached home on; 4/1/2012! Holidays, Weekends, Evenings, Early Mornings, with NO PERMITS! Causing destruction to my health & home! I am asking Your guidance to lead me toward those whom can assist me in this matter. Please Lord, help & hear my prayers!

Lord cleanse the hearts and minds of those politicians that do not want to help people that do not beleive in law and order that do not understand illegal vs legal and policies and laws that already exist. Help them see where the problem source is and fix it at its source. Allow law and order humanity and reality common sense and accountability. Remove the disrupters and closed mind one sided politicans that only care about their needs and wants that do not understand the value of life and taking care of others life's when needed. God, You have blessed me in so many ways Please, help me to know how to live a life that is pleasing to You. Teach me your ways, in Your mercy, keep me from sin and error. Please, extend your healing touch to Lynne, Hope, Kevin, George, Lisa, Samantha...all suffering and in great need of the comfort that only You can bring them. Lord, please, use me to be living for those in darkness and be my help when I lose courage. Grant me a humble heart that I might count the needs of others above my own interests. I cannot do this without the help and prompting of Your Holy Spirit. Amen
