"Pray without ceasing." 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17 (KJV)*******"I DROVE TO MY COUSIN'S house to deliver her birthday gift. I noticed that the green oak tree that loomed over her roof was now gray and stripped of leaves in the middle of spring. The hundred-foot tree was dead. My cousin reported that she & her husband did not have money to pay a tree trimmer.***I drove away consumed with fear because my cousin and her husband have two small children. One ferocious wind or rainstorm had the potential to topple the brittle tree. My mind ran wild with tragic scenarios. I wanted to help my cousin and her husband pay to have the tree cut. My mother stopped me. " Leave them alone!" she said. "Let those young people handle their own problems.***Over time the tree began to shed and dismantle itself onto my cousin's roof. In rainstorms, I worried that her family would not survive the night. Due to my mother's ultimatum, prayer was my only recourse. I prayed for the young family's safety every day. As I entered a second year of fervent prayer, my cousin and her husband, with the Lord's help, finally found the means to hire a company to raze the tree before it destroyed their roof. *** My mother called to say, "That big tree was cut down today." I thanked Jesus for answered prayers and offered up a shout of praise.***There are times that we are able to physically and financially help others. But sometimes Jesus permits us to only offer them prayer of faith. Why? He wants us to witness the power of fervent prayer. Please allow your love and grace help for each of us to overcome all we fear and don't know especially the sickness and the affects of it. I pray to stop the sickness control cure and prevent it. Lord please allow control prevention and a cure for the terrible Covid19 crisis. Lord help to end the spread all methods and science to deliver ways that can stop the spread and find the ultimate cure to help all. Please allow everyone to have protection Doctors First responders all medical care takers and people who have to go out to get supplies store workers everyone needs to have protections of some type mask gloves scarf anyway to cover face hands to stop spread. Thank you to all Medical professionals each and everyone who ever you are that are working to keep us all safe and able to get food and supplies. PLEASE BE SAFE. I would like to pray for the family of a 10 year old girl who was murdered and the 18 year old teen who was the witness and his family. May god bless them all in that tragic incident.
