Most Loving God, my Creator, receive my heartfelt praises to You, and my thanks for all the good things that flow on me from Your generous hands. Grant me Abbā, eloquence from Your Holy Spirit, that I may find the words which befit to give glory to Your edifying name. All this, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. I also pray that, now that all the CoViD19 restrictions are over, we become more patient and responsible enough to remain vigilant. Let us not act like pigs and trample on jewels. Amen.

My girl is moving across the country for a job with a company she loves. I'm thrilled for her opportunity and her courage. But here's the thing. She's the youngest of our four, and the one who still loved in town. She would come over each week to do laundry, have a meal, and watch a cooking show with us(which we'd always save for her). On holidays when none of the other children could make it home, she was the gentle and constant presence that we appreciated so much. ****So, while I'm happy for her, I'm also grieving. To cheer me, my husband and reminded me that after a writer's conference where I'll be teaching next summer we will be halfway to her new home. He suggested that after the conference we take a left on the map and go visit her. Anticipating that visit is definitely helping. *** As followers of Jesus, we aren't immune from loss and grief. Circumstances may move us far from our family and friends. Even more painful, those we are close to may go to heaven. We miss them, and it hurts. But Jesus reminds us that these partings are temporary. In the face of eternity together, these times of separation are brief. We may grieve, but not as those who have no hope. We'll be able to join Jesus and our loved ones soon. Please pray the media changes their hearts and prints the truth and also the cable stations. They never give the truth about our President and all the good that he has done. It seems like Satan has infested the world. We are in deep trouble and if hearts don't change I don't even want to think of how are children will get through all the evil. Congress and the Senate are not doing their job working for the people and only interested in hurting each other politicly.Somehow we have lost our way God is our only hope and prayer.

Then I saw a gray-haired man, wobbling and straining to reach for something firm to hold on to as he made his way unsteadily toward the bank. ***I rushed to the old man and extended my right hand. He beamed pleasantly surprised by the gesture. Then he muttered, "This arthritis...it's hard for me to move because of it."****As I held his wrinkled hand to support him, I felt his thick, hard palm and gnarled fingers. He explained how difficult it was for him to move around and even apologized for being elderly. He repeatedly thanked me,grateful for the sudden but much-needed help. ****I tried to imagine how that man must have felt while staggering his way into the bank. Was he afraid of tripping and hurting his fragile self? Did he pity himself for being weak and alone, without a family member to support him? I would have wanted someone to help me if I was in his shoes. We all need a helping hand. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Make her become more independent, grow cognitively, and prepare her to handle college and what life throws her way. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, skinny state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. "His life is the light that shines through the darkness." John 1:5 (TLB)******"THIS SUMMER I VACATIONED WITH my family to South Dakota's Black Hills and the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. We drove our RV and ended up having a great time, but the fires few days were rough for me. I struggled to stay in the moment and appreciate what I had because I felt overwhelmed by what-who-was missing. Our oldest had chosen a really neat opportunity that was offered to her for the summer and therefore wasn't with us. It was the first time we'd ever been on vacation without one of our kids. It stank.***To make matter worse, the other three weren't getting along. They all wanted to look at screens instead of scenery, and when they weren't looking at screens, they were fighting. The balance of different personalities and ages seemed to be thrown off by the absence of Grace. I felt like I was nagging them all the time. I began to feel hopeless and lost. ***One morning in an RV park at the foot of Crazy Horse Memorial, as rain fell on the roof of the RV, I got up early and made a pot of coffee. I opened my bible to the book of John, the place I go when I'm out of ideas. There's a reason I do this, I was reminded immediately. As I read the words, light began to shine in my darkness. ***I don't have a deep theological insight to share from those moments. Nothing new was revealed. The only explanation I can give is that it centered me. The Word, The Light, Jesus-shone in my heart and everything else seemed to gather around that light. Dear lord, Me and my family members have been struggling for a long time to find me a life partner. We have been in prayers for years now. I surrender my self to you. Jesus take over. I say these words now everyday when I get a proposal. I am also thinking negative about each proposals and throwing it away. But now I really want to get marriage and have a blessed family. Please humbly here my prayers. Please pray for me that the lord take control over my proposals and me. And lead me through this. This I ask in Jesus name. Amen.
