I am rushing to grade end-of-quarter projects while my students keep asking me, "Is there any extra credit?" They are trying to improve their grades. Yesterday, one student asked, "You mean I have done all the extra credit that I can do?" I told him, "You've done everything, buddy." He was crestfallen. He was longing for the glory of all A's.***There are moments in life when we give it all we've got...and we still come up short. The righteousness of Jesus makes this painstaking clear. Lord Jesus help the world the people in it the choices, words actions , behavior that takes place. Lord please allow good to always be greater than evil please eliminate all evil. Lord it is terrible what has taken place the loss of life. The inhumane action by one person to affect and destroy civilized behavior of so many people. Please allow true justice law and order forgiveness, peace and faith to overcome all the trouble currently in world. Have mercy grant us peace and love. Please Lord stop all destruction of life and property. Please stop laws being broken. Lord please provide the path the means, resources, ability to repair what has disrupted life and civilization.
