Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen

"Taste and see that the LORD is good, blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8 (NIV)***********"MY HUSBAND AND I TOOK our granddaughter to a local museum. They were hosting a special "girls in science" day with many hand-on activities. Instead of viewing paintings and sculptures from a distance or display of taxidermy animals and pottery shards under glass, she got to explore rooms featuring math, weather, and medicine. She created a lava lamp with oil and food coloring. She painted a coffee filter and watched the colors spread while learning about chromatography. In the weather area, she watched a machine create a tornado and reached in to touch it. In the medical science exhibit, she performed an ablation surgery on a pig's heart.*****Watching her play and learn, I thought about how much we absorb through tangible interaction, and the verse from the Psalms came to mind. Jesus invites us to do more than observe the walk of faith from a distance. He calls us to enter in. To taste and see what kingdom life is all about.*****He gave His disciples opportunities to go out and preach and heal those in need. They sat at His feet and listened, but they also experienced the journey of faith in tangible ways. Jesus continues to invite us to learn from Him in tangible ways. He gives us the waters of baptism and His body and blood in the sacraments. And He calls us to carry out His work of feeding the hungry, visiting the lonely, bringing hope to the hurting. Being a disciple of Jesus isn't about viewing His life from a distance, like an exhibit under glass. It's about joining Him in washing feet, wiping away tears, and breaking bread." --SHARON HINCK********"FAITH STEP: Ask Jesus to show you a hands-on way to share His love today. Taste and see His goodness as you serve." ******May God's Blessings be upon you & yours for good health, safety, strength, courage, hope, faith, compassion, prosperity, happiness & enjoy a great today always!

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10: 24-25(NIV)*********"MY THIRTEEN YEAR-OLD SON, PIERCE, IS a natural athlete. As his bookish mom I've had a lot to learn. Initially going to practices and games was purely a labor of love, though I enjoyed watching my son enjoy himself. Over time, I've come to appreciate sports teach, including the power of positive encouragement. Perhaps nowhere is this more evident than in baseball.***The batter swings and misses, the crowd screams, "Good cut." A play is a disaster of errors. Parents holler, "Shake it off!" the batter hits a foul ball. Viewers shout, "Good contact!" praising the fact that the bat hit the ball at all. This isn't always the case, but many coaches, parents, and fans find a way to discern the positive in even the worst performance, knowing that if the players lose confidence or get negative, their performance will decline.***Likewise, Jesus's interactions with even the "worst" of sinners always sought to lovingly restore them, even as He confronted their sin. The woman at the well, the adulteress, the apostles, and Peter in particular...Jesus's endgame was never to condemn, but o lovingly correct and instruct. He'd have been a great coach. Like Jesus, I cannot only seek to affirm others, but must do the same for myself, extending loving encouragement as Jesus did." --ISABELLA YOSUICO*******"FAITH STEP: Try to identify the positive in something apparently negative. If someone makes a mistake, share words of encouragement, in the spirit of Jesus." [MORNINGS WITH JESUS, A GUIDEPOSTS PUBLICATION, JULY/AUGUST 2020, VOL 6 NO 4, www.guideposts.org, 800-431-2344]*******Enjoy a blessed, healthy, safe, strong, cool, prosperous, pleasant, happy & great today always!
