May they place the gospel at the very heart of their lives. May they desire to love God wholeheartedly as you did. May they especially obtain a true devotion to the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary, and, following your example may we all increase in grace; pray for us that we will be Saints, so we will know the peace and joy of eternal life in Heaven. He's claiming oneness with Jesus so intimate that the lines between the two are blurred. Paul's saying, essentially, that he is dead. No longer there. But in place of Paul, Jesus lives. ***I was thinking about this the other day when I felt a great deal of anxiety about something I believe God wants me todo. I was leading music in front of my church, and I just started feeling sick. My hands were shaking, which was a problem, since I was playing the piano. I felt like Peter when he got out of the boat and tried to walk toward Jesus. He was doing it, but then he started to sink.***Did Peter doubt Jesus? Is that what made him sink? Or was he just doubting himself? Because when I'm doing music, I don't feel as if I'm doubting Jesus. But I definitely doubt myself. I wonder if I can really do it, if I'm good enough. I h ate for people to be depending on me, looking at me, judging me. But if I no longer live, and Christ lives in me, what difference does it make? It's not about me anymore, so I must be doubting Him.****Those lines are blurry. But if I understand Paul correctly, doubting myself when it's something I believe Jesus has called me to do-it's the same thing as doubting Him. He's called me. He's in me. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Eternal God, our Loving Abbā, glory be to You on this new day, and hallowed be Your name. I thank You, Father, for all the graces which You gave us yesterday. There were small things which went awry but compared to what You gave us; the gains are enormous. Yes, You do answer our prayers, and for this, I will not stop thanking You. Creator, You made us all different. In Jesus’ name, and with the intercession of His Immaculate Mother, let there be no new martyrs for the colour of their skin. Amen.
Please St. Peregrine I pray for miraculous healing for my husband. Please intercede for him. Please let his scans tomorrow be clear of all new cancer. Please let my ct scan be clear of any cancer. To prove her observation, she added. "You cried when you didn't get a perfect score in Spanish," referring to a language class I took in college. I didn't recall the crying incident she was talking about, but I admit that I took my studies seriously. I wouldn't cut classes. I spent extra house in the library poring over books. I fulfilled any assignment given to me by group mates for a group project. I tried to be a good student. But perfect? No. In fact, I had to enroll in a remedial math class to develop core skills.***It's hard to be a perfect student. It's even more impossible to be a person without fault in all areas of life. There isn't one person who is good enough to merit praise from Jesus, the Perfect One, made a way for us to have relationship with Him. I am blown away at the thought of sinless Jesus sacrificing Himself on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins and to make me acceptable. But I'm humbled and so grateful that He di, for without His perfect sacrifice, there would be no other way for us to one day appear before His Father, spotless and blameless. Jesus Christ made us right with God by meeting all the requirements to save us from sin.
