"My sheep listen to my voice. I know them and they follow me." John 10: 27 (CEB)**********"MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S DOG KNOWS MY VOICE. And my name. All dog lovers will understand. I don't see Sadie very often, but she "knows" that I'm family. ****If my daughter says," Sadie, Grammie's coming," the dog will run to the door, sit, and wait for me. My daughter has learned not to say, "Grammie's coming next Thursday." Too long a wait for a dog.****When Sadie sees me climbing the steps toward the house, she starts a wiggle pattern that won't stop until long after I've greeted her, rubbed her belly, picked her up, and snuggled her like a baby.***It was no flippant choice of wording Jesus used to answer the always oppositional Jewish leaders who surrounded Him in the temple, badgering Him to tell them once and for all if He was the Messiah. Jesus said, "I have told you, but you don't believe...because you don't belong to my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice.
