Please send Your MIRACLES, for a full recovery and healing of BN, that the physicians find the right doses or medicines for his stabilization, from dementia, Covid-19(3 x's), a Vietnam Vet, in a Veteran' s Nursing home, let him have peace, comfort in healing, and happiness, or if it's his time & Your will Dear Lord, don't let him suffer, send Your Divine Mercy to take his hand and bring him safely home into Your house soon. Let his wife and children have empathy, patience, compassion, strength, courage, hope, faith, respect & love for him and each other! Lead them into Your footprints. MATTHEW 19:14 (NIV)**********"WE REC3ENTLY SENT MY SON off to our church's weeklong sleepover camp. Pierce was uncharacteristically anxious and looking for reasons not to go. At first were prayerfully clear about our decision to send him, but then my husband and I started to worry a little.**My husband and I talked and prayer with Pierce about it, naming his utterly normal fears. We asked Jesus for peace, reassurance, maybe a familiar face, and above all, a life-changing time with Jesus. By the time we pulled into the church parking lot, he was ready to go.***As we made our way toward the church, his basketball coach emerged with a smile of recognition and warm greeting. He'd just dropped off his son, Tre, Pierce's teammate, who would be on the same camp team. Then Pierce saw another familiar face. Then the familiar faces soon connected with their other buddies and Pierce seemed lost. I hung around, uncertain. The fear crept back. ***Then it dawned on me. I was hovering, hindering Pierce from connecting-either with friends or with Jesus. Instead of trusting Jesus to care for Pierce, I was in the way. I hugged Pierce and left. ****We couldn't communicate with Pierce while he was away, but I dismissed my anxious thoughts and continued to pray. Five days later, Pierce returned on fire for Jesus, eager to take his faith to the next level: getting baptized. He'd come to Jesus unhindered by ta worried mom. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Make her become more independent, grow cognitively, and prepare her to handle college and what life throws her way. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, skinny state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. I ask myself ‘Do I deserve to have You love me so much?’ and I shudder at the thought. But then I recall Jesus, and how much He suffered to set me free from sin. "WEDDINGS ARE JOYFUL OCCASSIONS. At least they're supposed to be. Recently I was talking with friends at a wedding reception. We were laughing so hard I didn't hear the DJ's announcement. Suddenly the spotlight was on the dance floor. A familiar song started playing. The father of the bride took his daughter by the hand and led her to the dance floor. He held her in his arms for the father-daughter dance. My joy turned to sorrow.****Holding back tears, I smiled faintly, quickly excused my self, and headed to the bathroom. Thoughts of my father filled my mind. He'd left me as an infant. When I met him at fourteen, he told me. "Please don't call me daddy. I'm an elected official and the voters don't know about you." I rarely saw him after that first painful meeting. I never heard him say, " I love you." "Jesus, why?" I cried. "Wasn't I worthy?" *****Regaining my composure, I freshened up at the sink. A framed Bible verse sat near the mirror. The verse was Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV), "He will never leave you nor forsake you." In that moment I realized that my heavenly Father had always been there for me. My true Dad had never left me or forsaken me.***I smiled, thanking Jesus for His love. He promised that He'd be a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5).
