Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio
Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
Through the intercession of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, I confidently beseech You to grant me the grace of healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two daughters. Amen

Lord grant healing to all those fighting cancer and those with chronic conditions especially arthritis. "When the disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to consume them?" Luke 9: 54 (CEB)**********"MY FRIEND RECENTLY SUFFERED a serious rejection. My heart broke for her. It was unfair, uncalled for, and put her in a difficult position for her near-future plans. To increase the distress, she'd worked hard the past several years to heal from words that had shredded her soul. Now this.***My heart ached as if it had happened to me, but then I realized what I felt on her behalf could be little more than a shadow of what she was experiencing. The above verse came to mind and lingered. But only for a moment. It's a good thing I remembered the words that follow them in the Bible.***Jesus and His disciples had been rejected by a whole town. He'd sent messengers ahead of the team to find a place to stay on the long trip to Jerusalem. Their path led through a Samaritan village. But the village "refused to welcome him because he was determined to go to Jerusalem" (Luke 9: 53, CEB). ****James and John must have been humiliated, angry, and hurt, for their Friend, but when they asked Him if they should obliterate them with fire from above, Jesus "turned and spoke sternly to them[James and John ], and they went on to another village."
