Oh Dear God, My Lord, Holy Spirit! I am weak, I am worn, I am hurt. I am a single mum with three children, including special two needs. My kids are 21 daughter (Jina), 19 daughter (Jiya), and 15 Sahara my son. I don't know how to start and write. My heart is torn into pieces. I cried and cried yet my problems were not solved. I had a very abusive, violent, aggressive, and alcoholic husband. I got beaten by him, yelled by him, insulted by him, penalise by him, kicked out by him, ruined my life for him. During my entire marriage, I lived like a servant, working in a kitchen, cooking, washing, and looking after my kids and doing house chores and husband's chores. In the end I lost everything to him and to his family. After separation from him, I worked really hard, day and night to get a place and to feed my kids and provide their necessities. Their father did not help at all. All he did was violence and abuse. So he got away with child support. He thinks it is ok to not to help his kids or support his kids. My kids went through a lot of trauma and violence during their childhood. I was helpless and useless as I was not able to protect myself or my kids from him. Today after all these I thought I will have an easy life. No, Not at all; My first daughter, Jina had started a relationship with a boy and giving me the same attitudes and violence just like her father. What her father did during our marriage and after marriage , she is doing the same to me. This could be because she is effected of family violence and trauma. She is very cruel and abusive. She swears at us, insults us, abuses us. One year ago she left the house to live with her boyfriend but used to come home one and off. Last week onward she is gone and does not want to do anything with this family or does not want to be a part of this family. Her boyfriend does not like us or like this family. She does anything to make her boyfriend happy. So she kicks us out of her life. She does not understand how hurtful and cruel it is. She thinks it is correct. She insults her siblings, and haresh them for their disabilities. I don't know what to do. I prayed and prayed for almost 5 years and nothing changed to good but getting worse day by day. I want everyone's prayers. There are many sleepless nights, there many days I had no motivation to do anything during the day. There are many days I am having a dry face with swollen eyes because of heavy crying. I did my best where there was no best to do. Today i was put to a test where I have no control or power over myself or my own brain. What can I do? I am lonely, heartbroken, and sad. I want this matter to solve as soon as possible. Please open my daughter, Jina's eyes and brain, make her realise my love and care for her, make her call me, text me, or at least to come to see me. Please grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Make her become more independent, grow cognitively, and prepare her to handle college and what life throws her way. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, skinny state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. "Taste and see that the LORD is good, blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8 (NIV)***********"MY HUSBAND AND I TOOK our granddaughter to a local museum. They were hosting a special "girls in science" day with many hand-on activities. Instead of viewing paintings and sculptures from a distance or display of taxidermy animals and pottery shards under glass, she got to explore rooms featuring math, weather, and medicine. She created a lava lamp with oil and food coloring. She painted a coffee filter and watched the colors spread while learning about chromatography. In the weather area, she watched a machine create a tornado and reached in to touch it. In the medical science exhibit, she performed an ablation surgery on a pig's heart.*****Watching her play and learn, I thought about how much we absorb through tangible interaction, and the verse from the Psalms came to mind. Jesus invites us to do more than observe the walk of faith from a distance. He calls us to enter in. To taste and see what kingdom life is all about.*****He gave His disciples opportunities to go out and preach and heal those in need. They sat at His feet and listened, but they also experienced the journey of faith in tangible ways. Jesus continues to invite us to learn from Him in tangible ways. He gives us the waters of baptism and His body and blood in the sacraments. And He calls us to carry out His work of feeding the hungry, visiting the lonely, bringing hope to the hurting. Being a disciple of Jesus isn't about viewing His life from a distance, like an exhibit under glass.
