ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

I would like to continue asking for prayers for my sons and daughters. Alcohol has been a factor since I was younger growing up and is still now as Im older have children and grandchildren. Please help guide and protect our family from evil spirits who is prowling around to ruin our family. Thank you. I would like to ask prayers for my husband who needs daily guidance and wisdom .

Dear God, Thank you so much for all your blessings. Please also bless and give our family strength with what we’re going through especially my husband and son. Please bless that everything will work out for the better for the both of them and our family. Grant my husband and son the wisdom to make the right decisions. Continue to keep our family safe. For my daughter's health to continue to be well and a speedy recovery for my mom, dad and aunt, most especially my mom because of her stroke. Give my dad strength to cope with my mom's health issues and everything else. With the current COVID19 pandemic, give all of us affected strength during this challenging time.
