ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

for my vocation, as well as for better mental and physical health for me and my mum. that I won't feel so lonely anymore, and for the good friendships I desire for, and that I won't become distant from good people because of covid. and that covid pandemic will be over soon throughout the world, and be controlled better in all countries in the meantime. for everyone who is affected badly in anyway by covid that I will stop overthinking and worrying and draw closer to God for my grades, my exams, my extracurricular activities and that I will find good community, love and family in the many facets of my life for more self control and for happiness in my life without self indulging. that I will also be guided into a good future where I will follow God's will and have a happy and fulfilling job with fulfilling relationships, and that i and more people will stop being affected badly by covid for better social skills especially with my Aspergers

In the name of Jesus, I pray, now make my doubts vanish in thin air, my anxieties fizzle out, my fears turn to courage, and my cowardice change to bravery, especially in the face of challenging situations.
