We give you heartfelt thanks, O Loving God, for the rest of the past night and for the gift of a new day, with all its opportunities of pleasing you. Grant that as we live the hours of this day we will do so with joy, faith, hope and love in service of you. So that when evening comes upon us we will again give thanks to you for your many gifts that enriched us throughout the day. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen! Although, I ask prayers for all... mostly I ask prayers for my mom, Mary Acton. She is fighting Multiple Myeloma. She is strong and has so much faith in God, as do I. Her birthday is October 2, and I pray for a beautiful day and days ahead for her. Due to the pandemic and her compromised condition, she watches the mass every Sunday, without fail. Honestly though, she loves the show so much and would watch even if she could physically attend church. It would be wonderful to have her included in your October 3 mass. She is a blessing to all who know her. Thank you Lord for my mother Mary, she is my love and light. Thank you for your service, and abundant prayers... Amen

Please bless that everything will work out for the better for the both of them and our family. Grant my husband and son the wisdom to make the right decisions. Continue to keep our family safe. For my daughter's health to continue to be well and a speedy recovery for my mom, dad, aunt, E, A and J, most especially my mom because of her stroke. Give my dad strength to cope with my mom's health issues and everything else. With the current COVID19 pandemic, give all of us affected strength during this challenging time.
