Prayer of the Day
October 19, 2026
Prayer to the North American Martyrs
O God, who by the preaching of and blood of your sainted Martyrs, Isaac and John and their companions, did consecrate the first fruits of the Faith in the vast regions of North America, graciously grant that, by their intercession, the flourishing harvest of Christians may everywhere and always be increased. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with You, in the union of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and forever. Amen.

Dear God, Thank you so much for all your blessings. Please also bless and give our family strength with what we’re going through especially my husband and son. Please bless that everything will work out for the better for the both of them and our family. Grant my husband and son the wisdom to make the right decisions. Continue to keep our family safe. Give my daughter the confidence she needs. For her and M's health to continue to be well and a speedy recovery for my mom, dad, uncle and J, most especially my mom because of her stroke. Give my dad strength to cope with my mom's health issues and everything else. With the current COVID19 pandemic, give all of us affected strength during this challenging time. Continue to bless our family for our recovery from the COVID19 effects and so with everybody too. Please heal the world. Thank you. Amen.

Eternal God, Abbā, accept our praises to You and flood our hearts with Your Divine light that we may love You more, adore You without fail, and thank You more with our deeds for others and less with our words. In Jesus’ name, I beg You; please be with those dedicated to interceding for others. In a weary world full of fear and strife, they need spiritual wisdom, courage and inspiration to pray according to today’s needs. Bless and fill them with Your power and flood their hearts with love. Amen.
