Novena to St. Martha
St. Martha I resort to your protection and aid, and as proof of my faith and affection I offer this light which I shall burn every Tuesday comfort me in all my difficulties and through the great favor you enjoyed when our Savior lodged in your house intercede for me and my family that we may be provided in all our necessities.
I beseech you to take infinite pity in regard to the favor I ask of you St. Martha (that my daughters Kathy and Karyn may have healthy in all senses of the word children now) and that I may be able to overcome all difficulties as thou did'st the dragon at your feet.
Say three Our Father's, Hail Mary's and Glory B's. This prayer is to be recited on 9 Tuesdays in succession and each Tuesday a candle should be lit and a copy of this prayer left in church to help another soul in distress and to support the devotion to St. Martha.
