PRAYER OF LOVE - If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
So, faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

Dear Lord, I pray for peace in my family. May you heal my niece of her surgical wound andrelieve her pain. I pray for your guidance, protection and healing if bdy, mind and spirit for my daughter and our family. Dear Lord, Is it not true, that when the United States put the social security system in place, it was a profound act of compassion? Certainly, I am thankful for it. But as this world is what it is, things are a two-edged sword, and probably most things are not sustainable in a static form. Still, we are our brother's keeper, and love is the key, I believe that, amen.

Dear Lord, please help me find a way out of the many struggles I have been facing. I feel alone and no matter how much I pray and try to be forgiving and follow you, things never get better. Dear Lord, wisdom, she says, God has glory in what he conceals, kings have glory in what they fathom. On July 3rd I will be fifty years old, one half century! Wisdom also says - What is man, of what worth is he? the good, the evil in him, what are these? The sum of a man's days are great if it reaches a hundred years: Like a drop of sea water, like a grain of sand, so are these few years among the days of eternity. But, it is your veils, these in place, that enable this world to exist, as I understand, there are more veils between you and humanity, than for all angels, so are we not your glory?, even more so than all angels? I believe so. Amen.
