Dear Jesus, Mary, Joseph, St. Anne, St. Anthony, Little Infant, St. Jude - please help me to recover from the surgeries I had in July, then followed by a serious infection. That the wound involved will heal more quickly and without incident. That I will not require chemotherapy treatments. That my strength will return soon so that I can go on to be a better child of God - paying more attention to other's needs, more compassionate and helpful than before.

Please pray for the families affected by the typhoon Haiyan. Please pray that the leaders of the Philippines will set aside their differences and personal agenda and reach out to help those who are devastated and hurt. May the Holy Spirit touch their hearts with genuine concern and make them act as Jesus would to show care for His people. May the Filipinos remain resilient and strong in faith despite their pains and tragedy, and rise above these to recognize their strength and capacity to make a difference in the country's overall situation.
