PRAYER OF LOVE - If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
So, faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

God please help me through this tough time. Please give me the strength to help my children. We have been through so much pain and suffering because of domestic violence. The trauma has impacted their lives and mine so much. God please help us overcome this pain and allow us to move forward with our lives. God please let our healing begin.

People mean well, but their answers stopped working a long time ago, it's far beyond any rhyme or reason.
You know God, I read the other day that loneliness is the ultimate poverty. But add that to actual poverty and I'll tell you it is something of a monster. I have seen some of the most horrible things a person can see and experience too. I'm tired. There is no doubt in my mind that I was born to suffer. I don't know why, and at this point I don't care. I am considering suicide again. For the umpteenth time in 5 decades. Your a cruel God, or not one at all.
Thank you for today. Please send your help where it is most needed. Please help me and my family overcome our struggles. In God's name I pray. We are in your hands.

Dear Lord, My husband has been going through illnesses for the lsst two years, please help him to gain his strength and overcome them, and since I am his caretaker, please keep me strong and healthy so that I can continue to give him the care he needs.
