ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

Dear Lord, thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon myself and my family. I also thank you for the lessons we have learned along the way of our individual journeys. I pray for the neglected and the abused in that they know your love and that they are not alone. I also pray for the families who have lost loved ones that they are missing terribly. Lord God, please watch over my husband as he continues to protect and serve to ensure that he comes home to his family. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Dear Lord, I chose him because I thought that he was for me. He left and now I am suffering as a consequence of what I have done. My heart is aching and my mind seems to get more confused about life. I am losing my focus and it breaks my heart. Lord, I do love him and I pray that he will find his way back to me. Lord, please guide me everyday and not lose myself to stupid things. I need a one bedroom handicap access apartment in Nassau county ,ny asap.I am current in a nursing home trying to recover from a hip injury.my landlord is trying to evict me & I don't owe him 3 month's rent.I told the lawyer that I would pay when I get out 12/27/14.there is a health quarantine going on @my rehab.I can' t go out my room nor anyone else until this is over.I have asthma&a teach.please pray for me.I don't want to be homeless.
