THE BLESSING OF
UNANSWERED PRAYERS
I asked for strength that I might achieve;
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but everything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;
I am, among all men, most richly blessed.

How many people died, who deserved to live? Good God, I've been asking you lately to kill me, taking my life. Ido not wish to keep going, I feel like a trash, a human being without any humanity of the kind left. Useless, and shamefull. Wicked, without energy left. Desperated, and broken. Much more than hurt. Like I can't be help, or healed. Good God, take me, I have wasted my life, I have been making the wrong choice, and I do not have the desire to live anymore. May this life took away benefit those around me. Be It, Lord. For the sake of your name.

Lord please continue to heal my nephew of his tumor and my friends of the diabetes and other ills. Help all people in need. Lord I thank you for guiding me through my recent medical procedure and pray for continued healing of my back, my lungs, my transplants and my legs. Help me to control my diabetes. Most grateful for the Gospel & Homily from Fr Rbt Joerger, CP, he presented this mass with an uplifting & inspiring message, especially one that the youth attending can feel part of & can relate to. Thank You! I do appreciate having the Sunday Mass available on line & on TV to follow, especially being stressed, in pain, & exhausted, that I'm not able to attend mass as I have or want to. Please forgive me Lord, for not attending mass, but know, You know me, my stresses, needs & concerns & the reasons why. Thank You to all Priests, Deacons, Choir, Staff, all whom make this mass possible, the parishioners, donors, viewers, I do appreciate its availability. Thank You all, & may God Bless You & Yours with all life's greatness you all so deserve always.

Please pray for my husband,Charlie (age 83) and myself as we must decide where to live. He has already set his mind on a condo rental where it will be very expensive to live and I don't like the location. I'm ready to leave him because he's so domineering.
