please offer your prayers for myself and wife.we are 83 years ols in a few months and were required to sell our home of nearly 5o years due to ill health.we both suffer serious incurable ailments.where we are now we are virtually prisoners being shut in.we are both suffering severe depression and feel there is no hope.we are in constant fear of everything.the feeling of despair is surrounding us.each day is worse than the previous one/we were broght up believing in jesus Christ raised our children catholics attended mass faithfully.now as I cry out for help and none comes my faith is shaken badly.the fear of all is the worst.i cannot sleep nights and only when I am exhausted do I get little rest.terrified is a better description.please please ask the merciful father to help us.we cannot continue to live this horror.i have even had some thoughts that are forbidden by the church as a last resort.i beg for strength and faith,please help me find that help and peace.in my long lifetime I never thought this abomination existed,i am powerless and rely on my blessed mother as she is my only source of solace.i assure you dear people we are in the direst of need here.our minds are failing to handle this terrible situation.thank you and god bless you and your families

Please help me with my finances. I have worked hard all my life and would like to retire soon. Had my aortic valve replaced three years ago but am still working. Owe too much on my house. My house needs a lot of repair work. Need to find someone that will do a good job and charge me a reasonable price. This I ask through Christ, your Son, Amen.

After visiting Puerto Rico this week, please remember the citizens of this ravaged country. Keep their safety and attempts to rebuild their country in your prayers. There is much to do and very little support from the world to do it. As the next disaster or tragedy fills the headlines, don't forget the island and its inhabitants still need your help. First of all, I want to praise the Lord. My nephew's wife has cancer. I put a prayer request in and her chemo treatments started working and she got to go home to be with her four kids and husband for Christmas. Amen!
