Thinking Before Action - Help us O God; to be the people you have created us to be today. Help us to think before we speak, especially when our words are directed towards others. Help us to think before we write, especially when we are writing about others. Help us to act, respond and live as people committed to compassion, life and love. May the Lord forgive those who used a Nationally televised Funeral as a pulpit for hate and jabbing another. A funeral is not a place/platform to show hate and unkindness towards one's foes during that life, even using flowery rhetoric. It is rather to respect and remember the life now gone, not to make a political statement or statement of hate or to perpetuate a state of divisiveness. Lord forgive those who spoke those words, forgive this Nation for its sins , heal us and make us whole under God again. Help us to respect the Office of President and guide our leaders.Amen
