Father Almighty, God of heaven and earth, as we lie prostrate before You, we give You praises and thanks for giving us Your beloved Son Jesus. He showed us how to fight in love and with love, against injustices and evil. His life and His death on the cross show us exactly how to use Your armour, that we may stand against the wiles of the devil. In His name and with the intercession of His Virgin Mother we pray: God help us find the Truth; guide us on the path of righteousness; give us peace in our hearts that we may pass it on to others; train us for combat with the sword of the spirit; guard our faith that we may grow in it; and nurture in us love for others rather than for self. For Your greater glory and our salvation. Amen.
