God, oftentimes during the day I recite the Lord's Prayer, which I find very assuring and encouraging. However I always feel baffled about it. 'Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.' With so many wars raging against Christianity and with thousands of laws and by-laws sanctioning atrocities on humanity, I say that we are very far from Your kingdom and Your will. Merciful God, in Jesus' name open my heart and my soul that I may hear and interpret well Your calling. Amen.
