Luke 24: 30-31 (NIV)*********"JUST AFTER JESUS'S TRIUMPH OVER death. Cleopas and another disciple traveled the road to Emmaus, discussion our Lord and His empty tomb. As they walked, Christ joined them, but they didn't recognize Him. After reaching town, they invited Him to join their table, and He accepted. As Jesus gave thanks and broke the bread with them, their eyes were opened, and they saw Him for who He truly was. ***Jesus often chose mealtimes for sharing His wisdom encouraging others to deepen their relationship with Him. I feel that way about having friends over. The table is a great place to take part in mindful conversation. We all need food and drink to survive, but our daily bread involves so much more than what we put in our stomach. The thoughts and feelings filling our hearts and minds are every bit as important. As Jesus gave thanks, what did He say that revealed His true identity to the apostles?***I wonder. Because after they recognized Him, He disappeared. Had He told them all they needed to hear and cut the meeting short, so His prayer would remain embedded in their minds? ***When company comes over, I strive to show my guests that Christ lives inside me. I wan to radiate Jesus's love as we break bread. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter. Protect and guide me at my positions for my three jobs. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. Father God, I cry out to you tonight about the pandemic. Please be with those who need you most now. You know all hearts. If it be within your divine will, put an end to this pandemic. But,also, may you be glorified in it and in all things. May the world change for the better as a result of this as Your word promises that all things work for the good of those who love you. Also, I pray that you surround Lynn with your Holy Angels. That you comfort and encourage her, but most of all that You reveal yourself to her in a very real way, gather her to you so that she has Your peace.
