"And God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied and became very strong. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared god, that he made them houses." Exodus 1:20-21 (DARBY)******"I NEEDED A PLACE TO write for a few days-someplace that nurtured my devotions to God so that I could help others tap into their devotion. Lovely friends of mine have a bungalow by the ocean, just the sort of nurturing environment I knew I needed. So I dared to ask if I could stay there during the work week while they were in the city. They said, "Yes!" I felt lucky and grateful and blessed. ***but when I arrived at the beach house, I was overcome with unworthiness and guilt. Had I forced their hand? Did I deserve to be so generously received into their home? I quickly busied myself with writing, hoping that I could somehow ear the invitation extended to me.**Several house later the vast calm of the ocean and the nurturing spirit of my friends' home had begun to ease my tension. I closed my writing journal and took a deep breath. That's when it dawned on me: the journal I had been furiously writing in had been given to me as a thank-you gift a few months before. I had welcomed a friend's parents to stay in my home for a few days so they could attend their grandson's baptism. It had been a pleasure. ***In that instance I had been host, and here at the beach I was now guest. In both I was part of a network of love and generosity, and there was nothing to be ashamed of. I wondered about my sense of unworthiness. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Make her become more independent, grow cognitively, and prepare her to handle college and what life throws her way. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, skinny state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Bring peace and justice to our country. Thank you for all of the blessings that you have bestowed upon us as we are forever grateful. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Ask God to grant me the favors I now beg of you, please let my two daughter have healthy in all senses of the word children, my grandchildren. Also help any child or children who need help and any couple who want healthy children. It is with great confidence in your love for all people that I ask for your intercession on my behalf. Please pick for me a rose from heavenly gardens and send it to me as a sign of your love. Amen.
