FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT - God of Life, be with us in our journey through Lent and life. Remind us of the story of your love each day that we may truly believe in our hearts that you are our God. In our moments of choice and decision help us to choose wisely. Have mercy on us when we don't. Remind us amid our struggles to always call upon your name for help. Enrich us with your gift of hope that will enable us to always remember your love. Amen!

God of boundless Love, every day I experience an affirmation that You are the One True God of Love. Yesterday’s email brought any doubts about this, if I had any, to smithereens. Abbā, thank You for Your love for me, which unfortunately I cannot match to Your level. And thank You for giving me Your Son Jesus as my one-person army to protect me in a corrupt world.
