A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Dear God, Thank you so much for all your blessings. Please also bless and give our family strength with what we’re going through especially my husband and son. Please bless that everything will work out for the better for the both of them and our family. Grant my husband and son the wisdom to make the right decisions. Continue to keep our family safe. For my daughter's health to continue to be well and a speedy recovery for my mom, dad, aunt, E, A and J, most especially my mom because of her stroke. Give my dad strength to cope with my mom's health issues and everything else. With the current COVID19 pandemic, give all of us affected strength during this challenging time. "Lord, Let us never forget the tragic events September 11, 2001. Six years has passed, and it still is so hard to justify the motives for the unspeakable, and senseless violence of that day. Many innocent lives were lost in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., and the World as we knew it changed forever. **Now, more than ever, we need to rely on our faith and pray to you for guidance. Today, as we remember and pray for all of those who perished on that fateful day, let us remember those comforting words of St. Francis, "It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
