PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Holy Lord, I pray for the repose of the soul of my beloved husband Donald, that he have no more pain and suffering, and be wrapped in your loving arms. Thank you for the dream today, in which you showed him to me, and the thinness of the veil. I pray for all my family and friends, living and deceased, that through your mercy, we may be with you. I also pray for those of my family that currently battle illness, Dan, Bill, Shelby, Uncle Harold, and Beth, help them heal if it is your will, and give strength to their spouses. Please bring peace to the Ukraine, and all the world. Let us unite as brothers and sisters, not enemies, to care for one and other, and this planet you have entrusted to our care.
