PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Please stop, prevent, deter, punish crime, evil, violence and all bad behavior. Please allow everyone to travel, commute, drive, walk, ride, fly safely to depart, arrive and return safely always. Please help my family all people and myself. Please allow Good leaders with Good decisions, knowledge, ability, understanding, honesty and to admit when wrong has taken place. Dear Lord I pray that my wife Linda please overcome her inability to be able to sleep. That whatever it is that’s preventing her from being able to sleep be cured. I also pray that she is cancer free and that she’s able to rest without pain and her mind be eased so that she can be returned to good health quickly and permanently!!
