PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Please help me to listen and to be there for all my family. I need time alone and understand their need for someone to listen and to just be there for them. My family is everything to me, let me be a good parent, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and Christian. I love my family with my whole heart. Please bless that everything will work out for the better for the both of them and our family. Protect my son from bad influences and always guide him into your way of life.
