PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Abba thank you for the Passionist's priests' ministry to bring homebound people Sunday Mass. Thank you Father God for blessing us with the Eucharist daily. Thank you for forgiving us when we turn to our own idols of gold. Most of all, thank you for searching after us when we wander away from the church-The Body of the Living Christ. Help us Jesus to find the courage and strength to repent and live by Your Word. Holy Spirit within us please direct and guide us to do Abba's will on earth as it is in heaven. Free us from manipulation, intimidation, and domination of all satanic plans of the enemy. I pray that their upcoming marriage on 9/24, will bring them much Happiness and a return to good health.
