THE BLESSING OF
UNANSWERED PRAYERS
I asked for strength that I might achieve;
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but everything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;
I am, among all men, most richly blessed.

Merciful Father, I pray in particular that my father, my mother, my mother's eldest sister, my elder brother, and Sister McNally through the mercy of God, will rest in peace. May God welcome them in His Kingdom. Grant eternal rest, O Lord. We make our prayer through Jesus Christ, our risen Lord forever, Amen. Dear Lord I pray for the entire Halbreich Family as they struggle with one illness after another. That Rona’s cancer be controlled and eventually cured, that Michael’s back problems and infections be cured and his pain lessened and improved, that my wife Linda’s heart and kidney and blood work problems and her multiple illnesses be controlled so that she can live a peaceful and happy life, that Jackie’s issues with migraines and mental issues be cured; that Samantha remain on course to overcome her addiction and remain well, lastly that the entire Family be granted peace of mind, health and prosperity. I ask all this through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen

Dear God, Thank you so much for all your blessings and please bless our day too. Please also bless and give our family strength with what we’re going through especially my husband and son. Please bless that everything will work out for the better for the both of them and our family. Protect my son from bad influences and always guide him into your way of life. Grant my husband and son the wisdom to make the right decisions. Continue to keep our family safe and protect us from all harm. Give my daughter the confidence she needs. Good health to our families especially my husband. A speedy recovery for my dad, KB, Jr, MJ and J. For my husband to find a full time job soon. Continue to give our family strength to cope with my mom's and uncle's passing especially my dad and including everything else. Keep him healthy and safe always. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, give all of us affected strength with the challenges we face. Continue to bless our family for our recovery from the COVID19 effects and so with everybody too. Thank You, Abba for inhabiting the praises of Your people. I thank God for bringing me to another Thanksgiving. I praise You Father for giving me everything I need and not everything I want. Abba You are a Great and Excellent Father to me. Thank You for correcting me and forgiving me when I go off from Your righteous path of Life. I celebrate Jesus as the King of Kings today with Heaven! Thank You Jesus for Your dying on the cross for me. Thank You for rising from the grave and preparing a place for me in heaven. I love You Jesus because you endured the Cross so that Abba could adopt me as His Child. Thank You, Abba for loving me that much to send Your only Child to earth to save me. Jesus thank You for asking Abba to send me/us His Holy Spirit of promise. Thank You Holy Spirit for living inside of me and guiding me through this veil of tears in this life.
