Father Michael Greene, C.P.

Father Michael Greene, C.P. was born in the Bronx, NY and attended Bishop Duibois High School. After working and some studies, he joined the U.S. Navy and served from 1970-74. During that time he came to know the Passionist Community. At the end of his enlistment he entered the Pre-Novitiate Program while attending Assumption College. In 1978 he finished his novitiate year and professed his first vows leaving our W. Hartford monastery for Jamaica, NY where he went to St. John's University earning a M. Div and MA in New Testament studies.
He was ordained on 13 May 1982 and has been assigned to various apostolates over the years in parishes, retreat centers, the television ministry in Scranton.
