In thanksgiving for the memory of my Darling KIA-VN, 6 Aug 1968. He was supposed to be in Japan for a couple of months and be out of the Marine Corps.. The truth has never been told why he was in Vietnam. The lie hurts more than his death. We all get off the Train of Life at some time as expected and know the true cause or reason. Friends now living all over the USA were my emotional, and spiritual support had and impromptu gathering on the East Coast and for two days seven of us celebrated everything we could remember after not all being together in the same place at the same time since 1 July 1969. Darling would have enjoyed "his" birthday celebration on Friday 19 July. As I type this two are on a jet with stopovers and will return to California. Thanks be to God for these days of extra special Blessings.

Dear Lord, my mother passed 5 years ago today. She was a good and decent person and I and my brothers were truly blessed to have had her as a mother. Not a day goes by that I do not miss her. I would not have all of the other blessings in my life if it were not for her love and devotion.
