God Helper and Light - Loving God, helper of those who turn to you, light of those in the dark, creator of all that grows, promotor of all spiritual growth, have mercy on us. Make us temples fit for you. Do not scan our transgressions too closely, for if you are quick to notice our offenses, we will not dare to appear before you. In your great mercy, in your boundless compassion, wash away our sins, through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen! (Adapted from an Early Christian Prayer)
