PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Dear Lord,When so many people are out of work I am grateful that You have blessed me with the means to a livelihood. I know that with a roof over my head and food on the table I already live better than many in the world. So it is with a sense of gratitude for all I already have and have been given that I come to You with the request for promotion. I truly believe You have planted in my heart the desire to grow in my skills, to assume greater responsibilities, to exercise leadership to a greater degree in ways that helps others to grow. I pray that You will bless my work and influence and that all I do will positively contribute to the growth of my company and the workers around me. I pray that You will bring me and my work to the attention of those in positions to offer promotion. Please bless me with promotion or a new position, if it be your will.

Dear God please banish our financial homeless crisis, I am ashamed that I got us into this mess; please stop all Jeffrey's suffering because of my financial selfishness; please cure all his illnesses right away; please make Jeffrey's game playing put money in the bank right away; please make us win right away the next pch $5000 a week or the next large pch money prize so we can pay back, help others and get Jeffrey's teeth and he will be financially set when I die; please help me to treat Jeffrey better and better each day and please help me to not hurt his feelings. Please help me to control my feelings and outbursts. Please help me to be more tolerant. Please repair his ipad pro that I broke. Thank you God for the increases and please make Jeffrey easily get back his disability money and his ebt right away so we don't have to worry about the monthly rent.
