PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

I ask that my wife, and her siblings and their families and for my daughter and her husband that they overcome their difficulties and Lisa is returned to good health mentally and physically and for my brother and his children and grandchildren and my step daughters, their husbands and children all be well and overcome all their problems mentally and physically that my friends Nick and Madeline overcome his cancer that Madeline has a healthy baby girl and that all my friends and teammates and their families overcome their illnesses and afflictions and that all our animals be and remain well and I ask all this through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen

Dear God please banish our financial homeless crisis, I am ashamed that I got us into this mess; please stop all Jeffrey's suffering because of my financial selfishness; please cure all his illnesses right away; please make Jeffrey's game playing put money in the bank right away; please make us win right away the next pch $5000 a week or the next large pch money prize so we can pay back, help others and get Jeffrey's teeth and he will be financially set when I die; please help me to treat Jeffrey better and better each day and please help me to not hurt his feelings and stop interrupting him and stop our arguing.
