PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Let the pain in his side not be serious and please let him go to the doctor. Please let me be healthy and not have anything serious wrong with me. Help me develop healthier habits. Amen.

Heavenly Father please heal my brother Robert of his cancer. I am asking for my brother in laws healing of covid/breathing related illness. Prayers for my sister Laurie who cares for him and has health issues. I ask for healing of my Daughter Kristen, unspoken needs. For my sister Dee for health issues. I pray for a kinder more gentle husband, to gain/learn forgiveness of others when needed, as well as unspoken needs. I ask for prayers for myself, you know my needs.
