This is a prayer request for my college ex-girlfriend, Ruth, to reunite with me, her boyfriend Noah. We dated for almost 2 years and during this timeframe, she had helped me get through a criminal charge that was dismissed. When we decided to finally tell her parents the criminal change for the sake of honesty, they did not treat my honesty with high regard. They shut me out of their lives and encouraged a breakup between us, before I even had a chance to defend myself. And Ruth did break up with me, after telling me there was nothing that would cause for a breakup, including the disapproval of her parents. I am praying that the hearts of her parents may soften, so they can encourage their daughter that I am not the same man I was when I committed the crime. I have tried to be the best faithful servant of Jesus Christ along with my girlfriend. My goal is to strive towards marriage one day with Ruth.
Once again, I pray for unity between me and Ruth. In the span of 2 days, she reassures me that everything would be alright, to suddenly telling me she never wants to see me again. I am confused, distraught, and need prayers that will help Ruth reconsider and reach out to me, to give me a second chance. This has been the worst emotional shock I have gone through. I know that Jesus Christ is capable of strong and impossible miracles. I believe he has the power to fix this quickly and I have faith in the people who are praying over me, Ruth and her family, too. I believe this can be undone. I am sorry for all of my sins, especially for the anger I have shown the past few days. In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, Amen.
