Please pray for me as I face a few hurdles in life. I have been battling bladder cancer for a year now and have just heard that it has returned. At the same time my 88-year old mother has been hospitalized and now in a rehabilitation facility after suffering a very serious stroke last month. Please pray for my mom, Alda, who has been a television parishoner of the Sunday Mass for many, many years. She recently had a major stroke which impacted her entire right side as well as her memory and her ability to speak. At 88 years of age recuperation will be a struggle at best but with the help of God, the intercession of the Blessed Mother, and the prayers of our Catholic community I hold out hope that she can one day come back to the comfort and the love of her home.
