Loving God, create in us an ever-growing faith, with hearts open and centered in you. Awaken within us the fire of your Spirit, so that your love may fill us more fully, and flow throughout our lives. Increase within us a desire to reach out, to invite and to share, to welcome and accept. Awaken the faith of all your people, especially those who have grown distant from you, those ready to hear an invitation to the love you alone can bring. Awaken us, loving God, to see the fullness of your grace and peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. (Awakening Faith is a ministry of Paulist Evangelization Ministries)

Thank you lord for my son, my family, my job, my health and my home. Please also keep my 79 year old mother healthy and thank you for my sister's heart surgery that went well.

Dear Lord, I listen to concerns of a person dear to me. She wonders about technology and it's domination in modern society as perhaps it being used as false hope. At least that is what I gather from what she said. I spoke of prayer, it could be both as an individual or as a communal event. But is not love to be spoken of in the same way? Love, basically, to think more of the other than of the self. It works on an individual basis, and very much so, because one can fall in love and the other person does not have to agree, or even be aware of it. I know 'cause it happened to me last year, in fact. I can't deny, though, that I had a great time of it anyway. But cannot love work on a communal basis, as a whole? I wonder about that. Does it come down to "What is in a persons heart to do?- What is in a nations heart to do? Can a persons heart be split as perhaps that of our nation is today? Maybe I am just rambling on, I don't find that I have any answers to much of anything at this time. But I do believe that there is a time for everything under the sun. Patience, eh? Good night Lord, Amen.

Please pray for our parish St. Monica's in Willows Calif. we have a new priest that has caused many to leave and quit ministering and volunteering. We live in a very small rural community and this priest has changed everything we know of God, Jesus and the Church as we know it. He is a Legionaire of Christ very strict and pre-vatican II we are in spiritual decline please pray for all of us

I really really need prayers.My ex-husabnd and his wife have been taking us to court over our children for every possible thing you can think of.I will just say this,our children are very unhappy during thier visits with them and it hurts and stresses them out badly to be in the middle of this on going court battle. My husband has been in jail for domestic violence and child abuse. Please pray for us and if you can please put us on any other prayer chains you know of.Thank you so much.

Dear Lord, I know that You are with me. There is such problem right now, with me having terminal ovarian cancer. My son wants to change what he is doing finally and move by me as he is so distraught. I hope You will guide us to a wise decision , My daughter is taking care of me and will be tested also for the brca gene. She does it willingly but it is becoming emotionally and physically overwhelming. Could we please have some more time together.
