PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

ABBA thank You for this beautiful fall morning. I praise you for the red, golden tones that cloth our neighborhood tears. These leaves remind me that a new season is here as the trees clap their hands with joy for the breathtaking sights. Jesus thank You for healing the blind man in the Gospel reading. Jesus help me to see the beauty in nature and people all around me. I praise You for this season of fall around me and thank You for allowing me to see it. May The Holy Spirit of God open my Spiritual eyes to a deeper revelation of the gift of discernment in my life. May I quickly discern both the good and evil around me in my day to day affairs. Holy Spirit heal me of my brokenness and help me to be a Tree of Life to all I meet from this point on. I praise You Holy Spirit for Your Beauty and healing me and those I meet. pray for my sister Waltraud Phillips who is in a nursing home . She is having a very rough time with her life she is very sick , she does not have the strength to deal with herself. please have her understand why she has to be there. Bless this month for me and be with me. I pray for Oly, that grant him the intentions of his heart and bless his new business venture.
