First I thank God for my recovery from knee replacement and all the prayers that I received! Second, I am asking for prayers for our daughter Elizabeth who has two job interviews on Thursday 8/08 in NYC. so that she can find employment closer to us. Thank you!

Giving all praise and honor to God the most high. Lord I pray for a better work environment. There is so much favoritism and prejudices that goes on. I ask that you open their eyes and reveal to them what needs to be seen instead of what they want to see Lord. All we are asking for is for everything to be fair for everyone. Lord I ask that you speak into the hearts of management because we need them to work with us instead of against us. There are so many things that are being covered up and Lord I just ask that you reveal all that needs to be seen. Lord I also ask that you keep me grounded and to walk closer to you in all this. I know Lord that there is blessing coming out of all this misery and strife and Lord I just ask that you help me to hold out until my change comes. But through it all Lord I praise and want to thank you anyway. All these things I pray and ask in Jesus Holy name. Amen Amen and Amen

I have to have both of my knee joints replaced (the left one for the first time and the right one re-replaced from 16 years ago since the implant is separating from the bone). All my pre-surgery tests on 6/26 came out O.K. but my physician insists on 2 more tests which now has taken 1 1/2 months to set up due to errors on my physician's part and the insurance company. I am finally scheduled to have the 2nd test (a stress test) done on 8/6. It takes 4 hours and I pray that everything goes well so my surgeon can schedule surgery. I can hardly bear weight on my left leg and I don't think he will do both surgeries at the same time (although I wish he could since both knees hurt badly). Please, Lord, in your infinite mercy, don't let anything go wrong with this test so we can hopeflly proceed wth surgery. I asked the surgeon if the rehab has gotten any easier in the last 16 years and he said NO. It took me 9 months to rehab my right knee 16 years ago and I was still working at the time. I haven't been able to make a contribution due to the extra money needed for these tests but I will make every effort to make one in the near future.
