A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. For Melissa, may God heal her mind and relieve her from the mental illnesses that she has been suffering from for so long. May she find a job that she is able to do and keep so that she can regain her confidence and become a stable and a productive individual. May she also find her way back to our faith.
