Dear God,
Libya is much in chaos and too much Filipinos are here trying to endure fear brought by threats of the war, threats of being subjected to torture brought by the hatred of our Muslim brothers and threats of losing our jobs and having left with none when we are repatriated.
Dear God, we know everything happens for a reason and we know deeply that you have plans for us. Please God, we ask you to spare us from harm brought by cruelty and hunger for power and dominion. Also, spare the lives of the innocent. May our Muslim brothers who are fighting against each other and those that are not alike, have change of hearts and stop all the killings that lead to lose of hundreds of innocent lives.
I pray also that my loved ones will be okay. And I pray Hima and his family will be spared from all harm. Envelop them with your protective blanket. And keep them whole and let them celebrate their eid with wellness and peace.
I also ask you dear God, to protect my other loved ones, especially my sister Joline, that she always be safe and that free from harm and be away from all forms of harm and that no matter happens, she will always be in good hands and that she may be able to find a helping hand, a servant of yours, to help her when she is in need.
I also pray for our families back home, especially my mom, my dad and brother. I know they are facing difficult times but I pray they will be able to make do in life, while we try to make things work here in Libya.
And last but not the least, forgive me and all of us for our sins. We know if You can forgive us, we will be saved. And help us find courage to forgive each other, no matter how much we have hurt each other.
Please help us find peace..
