O God, you call us to be in love with you just as you are in love with us. Give us the grace to not be afraid of your gifts of love and mercy in our lives. Help us not to fear your invitation to intimacy and may we never hesitate to share your love with another. Dear Heavenly father. I thank you for the reprieves you have provided me with so many of the struggles I have been experiencing over the past several months. I am handing over my fears and concerns of not becoming gainfully employed again, and losing my vehicle, all my belongings, and overall my ability to ensure that I am able to meet even the most basic of needs. I have been a disappointment to so many, including you, and for that I am sorry and I beg for your forgiveness. I pray for the strength to overcome my fears and challenges, and hold tightly to faith even in the most darkest of times. I also pray that I will no longer fear having hope as I do now. I am terrified of not just losing possessions, but memories, accomplishments, and my ability to keep in contact with my children and family. I am fearful of spiraling and hitting a low that I will not be able to bring myself back from. I pray for the ability to fully understand what it means to live and not just make it through. You are the only one I can come to, and I fear losing you as well. Please help me. I beg of you to forgive me of all of my sins, and for my words and actions that have displeased you. Am so grateful for the opportunity of watching yesterday's Mass. The reading from the Hebrews was a promise just for me- to confidently approach the throne of grace; to receive mercy & grace for timely help.
